So, I've decided to start a SMW Project. Now I'm revealing some things about it:
Lunar Search is a project I've started six months ago, but stopped it because of some bugs. But now I've find the fix to it, so I strated to work on it again. Here is it:
It was a
Hex Edit that caused the ending to glitch. See below:
[F0 3D] Change to [EA EA] to prevent Mario walking after touching goal spheres or the goal tape.
This would make Mario stop walking. But, without it, it wouldn't have the zoom In effect, or end the level. So, now that I restarted it, I will post some screenshots (images) of it below.
Title Screen
What a peculiar title screen. Mario stopped, at a mountaintop, and a moon. That don't give even a hint about the history!
World 1 - Salty Seaside
A tropical area, full of beaches and grasslands. One of the beaches is said to house inumerous monsters and ghosts.
Level 1
Mario starts at one of the grasslands, inhabited by various creatures, such as Koopas and Spinies. After going through a pipe, he appears in a cave, povoated by Buzzy Beetles. The level ends with mario backing to the grasslands.
Level 2
Mario gets out of the grasslands, and now he finds himself on a local beach. Koopas, Goombas and various fish types make of this place their home. Mario goes through a short underwater section, just to come out to another grassland. As he finish the level, he can barely see a cave. Looks like he need to cross it. What would be the mysteries of the cave? What would lie further, trying to end Mario and his adventure?
Yeah, that's pretty much this for now. Soon I will have some screens of the Cave, that is, in truth, a Sand Cave.
